Bubba and Lulu

This is the completed Story Game of "Bubba and Lulu" that you all did an outstanding job in authoring.
Bubba and Lulu have been together for many years and Bubba is starting to break earth shattering wind by the day to Lulu's distaste. After incessant insisting from Lulu, that he see a doctor about it, Bubba reluctantly sat on the examination table waiting to hear the results. The doctor turned to Bubba, shook his head and said, "Can you tell me when you are most likely to have these spells?"

Bubba replied, "Oh doc, I really am ashamed to say when. I don't want to tell and I am leaving." Out the door he went, and headed for his hideaway.

Lulu smiled to herself as Bubba thought she did not know where his hideaway was. Off she went to find him. He was, of course, in the bakery down the street ordering up one of those cakes he loved! Next he decided to order a half dozen cupcakes to go, knowing how much LuLu loved them. He was torn between the Red Velvet Cupcakes or Lemon. Finally he decided to get some little portions of each kind of cake and eat all of them and bring Lulu some flowers, but unfortunately he decided to go for the Lemon!

Then he walked out with Lulu following close behind wearing a gas mask! Perhaps now they could go to an open-air cafe and thoroughly vent the situation before going to the the gym to burn off all those calories they enjoyed from those huge cream cakes they just ate at the cafe. Then they entered the sauna after their strenuous workout. While sitting there Bubba got the overwhelming urge to toot, but knew that there were people around.

Lulu noticed his face getting purple from holding his breath and she cried for help but it seems no one is paying them any mind so she rushed him to the hospital emergency room. They proceeded to take Bubba to the operating room for surgery where they did a colonoscopy and saw the reason why he was breaking earth shattering wind. The doctor informed Bubba that he was lactose intolerant. Bubba was also told what foods he could no longer eat, and at the top of the list was baked goods.

Bubba didn't like the idea of not having his baked goods, and he figured that he could spurge now and then. Lulu will just have to deal with the gas as she's always done, after all what's a little gas between a husband and wife?

Bob and Mary - Story Game

This is the completed Story Game of "Bob and Mary" that you all did an outstanding job in authoring.
Bob and Mary just finished three days of holiday shopping when Mary discovered that she had forgotten something important and essential. She had not gotten anything for Bob. Since it was Cyber Monday, Mary sat down at the computer and typed in http://www.amazon.com, thinking she might get him a book on how to bake a cake but instead she found a great sale on cartoon character underwear, a whole set for only $300!

But that is too expensive. I have seven grandchildren. I better try that search again. An in depth research revealed that 7 sets of undergarments is only $300. Hence Bob decided to clinch the deal, because, what is Christmas without some Batman Underwear? He pulled his still warm credit card from his wallet, bought the underwear and decided to have cake for lunch!

Then he pondered about secretly buying that special necklace with Mary's birthstone. It was on sale and he knew how much she wanted one. He bought it and said I am going to hide it in the underwear. She'll NEVER think to look for it there. I'll take it out and wrap it up at the last minute.

Unfortunately, that turned out to be a bad idea, because when Mary discovered she was still wearing a blouse she decided to try on in one of the stores, so she grabbed the underwear and and put them on and decided to give Bob an early Christmas treat!

Bob HAD to figure out if the necklace was still encapsulated in the underwear his wife was showcasing to him. Nervously, like an inept schoolboy, he tenderly pulled back the elastic band emblazoned with the Bat-logo when the doorbell rang. Who was at the door? The pastor of our church and here's my wife dancing around in my batman underwear. We should have closed the curtains because our pastor was getting a real show. I hustled my wife off to our bedroom and answered the door. Our poor pastor was embarrassed beyond belief, but I was in worse shape than him.

After the pastor left I went to our bedroom to find my wife in tears about the pastor watching her dance in batman underwear. There was no consoling her either. She got dressed and left the bedroom and I began searching for the birthstone necklace. I couldn't find it anywhere. It just had disappeared. If fact I searched every room that my wife had been while she was giving me and our pastor a show and still couldn't find the necklace.

The necklace was on sale when I purchased it the first time, but it wasn't on sale when I purchased it the second time. I've learned a valuable lesson. Buy the gift, wrap it and put it under the Christmas tree. Don't hide it in your underwear drawer.

Bee and Charlie - Story Game

This is the completed Story Game of "Bee and Charlie" that you all did an outstanding job in authoring. For those that may not know these are two of my blogging buddies; Empress Bee (Of the High Sea) at Muffin 53, and her hubby Sarge Charlie of Sarge Charlie. Hubby and I had the pleasure of going on a cruise with them on the Carnival Glory this past February, along with some other wonderful bloggers.

The one thing that's always a constant in all these story games, is that someone always mentions cake. This one is really about lots of cake, cruising, pie and Lima beans. Enjoy your Story Game:
Bee and Charlie are getting ready for another cruise, but there's one problem they must address before their cruise. They both suffer from a rare disease known as Chronic Ocean Wave Syndrome (COWS), and have run out of COWS pills, but they wouldn't let a little thing like COWS keep them from their plans to sail the ocean blue! So, they called their Doctor, Dr. Green, who insisted that they contact Dr. Purple who had an abundant supply of little pink COW pills.

As luck would have it, those little pink COWS pills were actually CAKE! Miss Bee had an honest-to-goodness prescription to eat CAKE! Every day, several times a day! Unfortunately, before they could fill their prescriptions they both had to hop on their scooters and scoot over to the gym. Too much cake and they won't fit into their lovely new cruise wardrobe.

When they arrived at the gym, they were surprised to find all their blogger buddies in the pool doing water aerobics. Everyone was bobbing up and down and to and fro when all of a sudden it started to storm and the captain announced everyone needed to go into the dinning hall, after they all arrived in the dinning area the announcement came over the public address system, "Everybody out of the pool".

Bee said, "I'm in the mood for some cake." Charlie said, "I'm in the mood for poker! you go eat more cake while i play cards, and then we'll meet in the dining room for more cake. Maybe some ice cream too. What do you think?

Bee had other ideas, and her plan involved more than cake. She's had cake, plenty of it, this time she would take a walk on the wild side. This time, This Time, She wanted pie. Bee wanted pie, but not any old pie. The pie had to be a Steak and Guinness Pie. The problem was and it was major problem there wasn't any Guinness aboard the ship and they wouldn't be arriving in port for another 48 hours!

So Bee visited the captain and demanded a private meeting to see what he could do to improve the situation. The captain brought her to the lower deck and pulled a small valise out of a hidden wall. Bee's eyes lit up as she squealed , Oh Captain Morgan, You truly mean that I can cruise on Carnival for FREE for life with Sarge by my side?!!! There was a catch though, she and Sarge were never to eat cake again.

"Never eat cake again!? Then surely I will fall ill with a horrible case of Stripes!
So it was call Camila Cream and have her make some of her famous Lima bean PIE. Wouldn't you know there weren't any Lima beans on-board. That was where those forgotten scooters could come in handy looking for stashes of Lima beans and throwing them overboard! Sarge and Miss Bee love sailing but not with a horrible case of Stripes. And not without cake either.

Just then Carnival's senior cruise director John Heald came to the rescue. He promised that he would make sure that Bee and Charlie got all the cake during their free cruises and no one would know but them. He would have the pastry chef disguise their dessert to look like something other than cake and no one would be the wiser. John Heald always takes care of Bee and Sarge. Always. He also gave both of them a slice of Lima bean PIE to make sure they would never have a horrible case of the Stripes. Now don't you just love a happy ending? I do too.
